Postmodernism is commonly described as a cultural movement that emerged
in reaction to postmodernism. It involves a return to traditional storytelling techniques and emphasizes sincerity, authenticity, and emotional resonance in its works. Using a RISO printer, I designed a postcard to reflect the capitalistic influence of producing LGBTQIA+ merchandise. The phenomenon is known as "rainbow washing" and unfortunately is a common ploy used by companies to appeal to a queer audience disingenuously.
